My love of photography stayed with me from that point onwards and I was always looking at imagery and framing views in my mind and eye.
As technology moved on I was an early adopter and became a Technical Trainer, embracing and teaching everything around the new emerging technology of the 90’s and onwards. The idea of a phone that could take photo’s was incredible and as my work started to take me all over the world, I was able to again fully indulge in my passion for photography.
These days I shoot in micro four thirds on Olympus equipment, as well as using DJI drones, gimbals, Go-Pro’s and any other camera equipment I can get my hands on.

Growing up back in the 70’s, I remember my father being very keen on cinefilm and recording whatever he could. He was also a fan of stop motion animation and tried this on a number of occasions too.
I was given my first camera at the age of around 11 and it was a very basic camera that shot on 127 film. It was fixed lens and I shot in black and white which I then proceeded to develop myself, in my mothers walk in laundry room, and then printed using contact printing outside in the sun.

As a lifelong trainer I am a firm believer in making things easy and enjoyable when people are learning new skills. Many people are intimidated by the words and phrases that are used when explaining technology or concepts and I like to get rid of that and show people the simple, practical ways they can get more from whatever they are doing.
To this end the courses here are aimed at everyone at all levels. Whether you want to take better photo’s with your phone camera, your drone, or your digital camera, I will help you learn in an easy and enjoyable way, so that you can start seeing results and making use of things instantly.
